Delta Chi Mixer

I visited my family in Riverside and came back for a party at the Delta Chi house. My roommate Craig's fraternity was holding "Frozen Over", the big Delta Chi party of....well, at least for a few months. Janine and I agreed to go -- Craig's fraternity brothers are sweeter than heck and a ton of fun to hang out with. Plus, who doesn't want an excuse to dress up pretty?



The theme was "winter wear", but decidedly a southern californian winter: after I put on my puffy coat that makes me look like a depressed marshmallow, Craig vetoed the jacket and insisted on something that allowed me to put my arms completely down at my side. I decided on a scarf and boots to make myself look wintery (I accidently left my scarf!).

A bunch of people were there, and though it wasn't quite what we expected, I had a great time (and we got free doughnuts afterwards). The party got busted at 1:30 a.m., but Janine and I had long gone by then, sawing logs to try and catch up on some much needed sleep.
